Sat. Sept. 25th – following the 4:00pm Mass
Sun. Sept. 26th - following the 7:30 & 10am & 5pm Masses
Tues. Sept. 28th - 6:00 – 7:30pm
Our CYO Athletics Program offers any youth in grades 2 through 8 the opportunity to play basketball in three different divisions. The Instructional League is for boys and girls in grades 2 through 4, and emphasizes learning the basics and interacting with others while having fun, playing and learning are more important than winning. In the 6th Grade Division, boys and girls in grades 5 and 6 work on improving their skills at a more competitive level while concentrating on sportsmanship. And the 8th Grade Division for boys and girls in grades 7 and 8 involves a higher level of competition that offers tournament play developing the player’s concept of teamwork while building a mutual respect for others, skills that will help them as they further their development as Disciples of Christ.
Our Cheerleading Program is also open to students in grades 2 through 8 as cheerleaders; additionally we offer an opportunity to students in Kindergarten and 1st grade on a mascot level. In the past few years, due to low enrollment, our Cheer Program has been comprised of all
the eligible grade levels making up one team, this team dynamic has offered a unique experience for the younger participants to learn from their older peers while the older players benefit from the opportunity to be a mentor.
